Larger labels

Non-tab labels

Sinclair offers many different label shapes without a tab. A non-tab label is perfect for fruit where the skin isn’t typically consumed. Examples of this include citrus, avocados and melons. Labels may be applied using Sinclair labeling equipment.

Tabbed labels

Sinclair TabLift® and TruTab® are the highest quality tabbed fruit labels available. The unique label feature allows consumers to remove a Sinclair produce label quickly and easily — and all in one piece. The TruTab® feature was specially developed for use with Sinclair Print On-Demand® and is the only tabbed label available for direct thermal print applications in fruit and vegetable labeling.

Variable print labels

Patented and award-winning Sinclair Print On-Demand® technology enables printing of variable information at the point of application while fruits and vegetables are conveyed at high speeds in the packinghouse. These labels are food-safe polypropylene, specially formulated for direct thermal print application.

PLU on labels

A price look up (PLU) code is a four- or five-digit number that is used by supermarkets to make the checkout and inventory control of individual, loose fruit and vegetables easier, faster and more accurate. The use of PLU labels also ensures that the correct price is paid by consumers without the need for cashiers to visually identify each product.

Barcode labels

Barcoded produce enables checkout efficiency and item-level identification. Sinclair uses barcode verifiers to inspect all barcoded labels according to ISO standards during the printing process, so you can expect data integrity. 2D codes, such as QR codes, enable consumer engagement with your product quickly and easily.
